I believe that every student can be successful in math!  

 

As with anything you will do in life, if you want to become better at something it requires practice, consistency, and determination.

 

You will need to ...

  • be a participant in class, not a spectator.

  • do homework daily.

  • work with others in class; be a leader and a good listner.

  • form a study group, it's always better when with friends!

  • know when you need to seek out extra help.

  • come to class prepared and just as important --

       with a POSITVE ATTITUDE that you can and will succeed!

Please come to see me for help during a time when I am in the math office.  If it is an emergency, come to my classroom and we will discuss a better time to meet.  I am also available to meet with students any day after school, except on Tuesdays.

Math Tutoring Schedule

Math tutoring is available to all students in the Student Success Center (SSC) located in room 191.  Students may go to the SSC during their lunch, study hall, or resource time.  There are two math teachers assigned to the SSC each period of the day, as well as a math TA, to assist students with all levels of math.  Additionally, the SSC is open before school at 7:30 and after school until 4:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
